Some of the Florentine artists covered in the three volumes are : da Vinci, Michelangelo, inelli, Angelico, Gozzoli, Uccello, Botticelli, Lippi, Garbo, Carli, di Cosimo, Bartolommeo, Falconi, Cungi, Pontormo, Rosso, Manfredi, Rosselli, and Artetino. While Berenson published other works, in his lifetime, Drawings of Florentine Painters is considered his masterpiece.\r\rバーナード・ベレンソン（1865 - 1959）\rリトアニア出身のアメリカの美術史家・美術評論家。イタリアルネサンス研究で著名で、矢代幸雄、ケネス・クラークなど多くの門人がいる。
